    The brand-new IPL style league of the United Arab Emirates named International League T20 will start soon. Three owners of the Indian Premier League have invested in the ILT20 as well. The three teams are Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals. Their teams in ILT20 are known as MI Emirates, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and Dubai Capitals.

    Apart from the aforementioned three teams, there will be three more teams in the International League T20, namely the Desert Vipers, Gulf Giants and Sharjah Warriors. This league will majorly feature overseas cricketers, and it is the second-ranked league in terms of payments to cricketers.

    Interestingly, some players who will work as coaches for the Indian Premier League franchises in the upcoming edition of the tournament will be seen playing in the UAE’s International League T20. Here is a list of the two names.

    1. Dwayne Bravo will play for MI Emirates in International League T20

    Chennai Super Kings’ new bowling coach Dwayne Bravo has signed with the Mumbai Indians-owned MI Emirates team in the International League T20. Not many fans would know that Bravo once played for MI in the Indian Premier League. In fact, he even captained the franchise in one match.

    After more than a decade, fans will see Bravo playing a cricket league in the blue jersey for a franchise owned by the Ambani family.

    2. Kieron Pollard will coach MI in IPL and captain MI Emirates in ILT20

    Kieron Pollard announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League on the day when the franchises announced their lists of retained players for the 2023 season. The Caribbean legend will continue his association with the Mumbai Indians as their batting coach.

    Meanwhile, Pollard will also lead the MI Emirates team in the International League T20. Even New Zealand’s Trent Boult is a part of the squad.
