Some of the old names will be missing from this season. Even the likes of Pat Cummins, Alex Hales and Sam Billings who participated in last year’s auction have withdrawn their names this year. Mr. IPL Suresh Raina has announced his retirement, while there are no signs of Mr. Universe Boss Chris Gayle returning as a player.

A few other names have retired from the league as well, and two of them have already taken up the role of coaches in their ex-franchises. In this listicle now, we will list down the two players who participated in IPL 2022 as cricketers but will turn up as coaches in IPL 2023.

Bravo initially played for Mumbai Indians before moving to CSK. When CSK was suspended, he played for the Gujarat Lions and then returned to Chennai again when the franchise came back. Now, he will work as a bowling coach for the team.

    2. Kieron Pollard

Kieron Pollard was the main batter for the Mumbai Indians team. He was a utility player as he took some unbelievable catches and also took crucial wickets whenever the team needed.

Pollard was out of form in IPL 2022. The Mumbai Indians even dropped him from their playing XI by the time the season ended. The all-rounder will work as a batting coach for MI in IPL 2023.
