    1) Jason Holder

Jason Holder is one of the West Indian players who might retire from ODIs if they fail to qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup. He had a terrible outing in the Super Over against the Netherlands. Considering his profile, he might consider quitting ODIs to extend his Test career and also increase his involvement in franchise-based T20 cricket. His overall form is dropping these days and he might have to make a decision soon.

    2) Rovman Powell

He has played 50 ODIs till now and still now, he is yet to make a proper impact. Yes, he might be the captain of the T20I squad but it appears that the 50-over format may not be for him. He last scored a 50 in 2018 and was recently dropped from the playing XI. Rovman Powell has good demand when it comes to T20 leagues. Therefore, he might turn himself into a T20 specialist and this could get triggered by his retirement from ODIs. Therefore, he is on this list of cricketers.
