At RCB, Vettori did not have a great time. However, since then, he has developed a good philosophy and has found decent success. The fans of SRH will be hoping for the franchise to do well under him.
1) Abhishek Sharma
While the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma have gone on to debut for Team India, Abhishek Sharma is somewhat lagging behind. However, the Punjab cricketer has immense potential and would need a remarkable IPL 2024 to get close to the Indian Team. While his batting game needs to stay the same, his bowling has scope for improvement. Vettori is a legendary left-arm spinner and under him, Abhishek will look to improve.
2) Mayank Markhande
Mayank Markhande is one of the Indians who might flourish under Daniel Vettori at SRH. The Punjab spinner was a revelation for SRH last season. However, his form dropped at the end of last season. Some good leg-spinners have developed under Vettori and Yuzvendra Chahal is an example in IPL. Therefore, it would be greatly beneficial for SRH if Mayank turns up well under Vettori.
3) Kartik Tyagi
Vettori backs his pacers and if there is someone who needs this kind of backing at SRH, that will be Kartik Tyagi. Many have leapfrogged him to make their debut for Team India. However, Kartik is struggling with form and fitness. He would need a consistent IPL season to get back into the scheme of things. Maybe, this could happen under the Kiwi legend.
