The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), a two-time IPL champion, have always been known for their bold and strategic moves in the auction room. As they prepare for the upcoming IPL 2024 season, the franchise has decided to part ways with a lot of players ahead of IPL 2024 Auction. Narayan Jagadeesan
The 27-years-old wicket-keeper batsman from Tamil Nadu got a number of opportunities in the IPL 2023, but failed to make a significant mark in the tournament for the Kolkata based side. KKR have had a great problem in finding a domestic wicketkeeper and Jagadeesan came as a option but failed miserably. Now Jagadeesan doesn’t even find his name in the IPL 2024 Auction Final list.
Mandeep Singh
A veteran of the IPL circuit, Mandeep Singh brought a wealth of experience and stability to the KKR middle order in 2023, mainly as a backup player. His calm head and ability to play long innings under pressure one of the key reasons KKR invested on him. But he didn’t get much chances in the IPL 2023 and was eventually released. And he has even failed to find his name in the final list for IPL 2024 Auction.
Liton Das
The Bangladeshi swashbuckler, Liton Das, was bought after a great run of form in international cricket. But he failed to prove his worth in the limited chances that he got for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). As a result, Liton was released ahead of IPL 2024 Auction, who now has failed to make it to the final list for the Auction on the 19th December.
