1) Royal Challengers Bangalore have been poor tactically in IPL 2024
Starting with the selections of the playing XI, RCB has not been able to be on point with their strategies. With Andy Flower at the helm, many expected them to do well. However, they have been worse than last year. Even with a decent playing XI, with a confused batting order, the team has been off the mark. In the coming games, this is an area for them to improve.
2) Delhi Capitals
In the first game, DC had four foreign batters. It led to an imbalance in the playing XI. When it comes to using the bowlers, the team was not great as the likes of Sunil Narine had an easy run in one of the games. The usage of Mitchell Marsh with the ball has also been something that was debated by many.
3) Gujarat Titans
GT has a solid coach in Ashish Nehra but they have been poor in bringing out the best tactics in recent times. Having Kane Williamson and Sai Sudharsan in the middle-order was one of their recent mistakes. R Sai Kishore and Abhinav Manohar on the bench also don’t do justice to the talent of the players. The usage of Darshan Nalkande is also another failure by the management and the skipper.
