1. Bishan Singh Bedi became number 1 in ICC Test Rankings
The first Indian to achieve this feat was former spinner Bishan Singh Bedi. He would trap the opposition batters with his quality spin bowling. As a result, he also achieved the pole position in the bowling charts.
2. Jasprit Bumrah is the number one bowler in ICC Test Rankings
Jasprit Bumrah became the new world number one bowler in the Test format earlier today. Bumrah has been quite consistent across all formats for India. His nine-wicket haul in the Vizag Test against England helped him achieve the number one ranking today.
3. Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja has established himself as the world’s best spin-bowling all-rounder. While India’s team management sends him to bat down the order, he has proven himself as a game-changer with the ball and also achieved number one ranking.
