Subramaniam Badrinath will always be remembered as a distinct player in the history of T20I cricket. Badrinath played only one T20I for India and won the Man of the Match award in the match against West Indies.
Although he won the Man of the Match award on T20I debut, the team management dropped him because of his defensive playing style. The selectors preferred the likes of Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, and Yuvraj Singh ahead of him.
A talent was wasted because of this as Badrinath could never realize his potential in the international cricket world. He has retired now with one T20I match and a Player of the Match award in it.
1.Amit Mishra
No Indian fan could ever forget the India vs. New Zealand series of 2016. The main reason behind that is the Men in Blue sported the name of their mothers in that series. The Vizag ODI will go down as one of the best ODIs ever featuring the Indian team.
Virat Kohli and co. posted a below-par score on the board. However, Amit Mishra’s five-wicket haul in the second innings helped India win the match and also the series 3-2. The leg-spinner even won the Man of the Series award for his instrumental performances.
However, the team combination issues prompted the backroom staff to drop him from the ODI team.
