    4 players who never played Test cricket but are playing as legends for India in Road Safety World Series 2022

    Road Safety World Series 2022 began last Saturday at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Defending champions India Legends started their new campaign with a victory over the South Africa Legends. Some big names like Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel were a part of the Indian squad.

    All the aforementioned names have played for India in all three formats of international cricket. However, the India Legends squad for Road Safety World Series also features four players who never played the purest format of the game – Test cricket. Here’s a list of those four names.

    1. Manpreet Gony is playing in Road Safety World Series 2022

    Former Indian fast bowler Manpreet Gony is an important part of the India Legends bowling attack. Gony can also make his presence felt in the batting department. Interestingly, Gony only played two ODIs in his international career. He never played Tests or T20Is.

    2. Yusuf Pathan is playing in Road Safety World Series 2022

    Big-hitting all-rounder Yusuf Pathan won the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and ICC World Cup 2011 with the Indian cricket team. However, he never made his Test debut. Pathan played a total of 57 ODIs and 22 T20Is for the country.

    3. Rajesh Pawar

    Former Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals player Rajesh Pawar is also a part of the India Legends team this year. Pawar never played international cricket for India in any format.

    4. Rahul Sharma

    Right-arm leg-spinner Rahul Sharma played his first match in the Road Safety World Series against South Africa Legends last Saturday. He bowled brilliantly and took three wickets for the India Legends team.

    Unfortunately, Rahul did not have a long international career. He played just four ODIs and two T20Is for the Indian cricket team during his brief career.
