Gujarat Lions were a part of the Indian Premier League from the year 2016 to 2017. In two seasons, they topped the IPL points table once but they squandered both chances to qualify for the final. Suresh Raina and Brendon McCullum were the two men who got the opportunity to captain IPL’s first-ever Gujarat-based franchise.

3. Nathu Singh played 2 matches for Gujarat Lions
