Indian cricketers have made a name for themselves with their excellent performances in Tests, ODIs and T20Is. Almost every nation has adopted the concept of having specialists for Tests, ODIs and T20Is. However, India is one of the few lucky teams which has players who can adopt any format of the game.

At the same time, not all Indian cricketers are proficient in all three formats. Players like Shahbaz Nadeem and Hanuma Vihari have only played Tests. The following five modern-era Indian cricketers have played Tests and ODIs but never played T20Is for the country.

    1. One of the current Indian cricketers – Shubman Gill

It is a little surprising to note that Shubman Gill, who starred for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022, is yet to play a T20I. Looking at his top performances in IPL, it should not be a surprise if he gets his maiden T20I cap soon.
