    5 players who have won the IPL trophy but are yet to play a game in the league

    It is the dream of every T20 player to win the IPL Trophy, but not all players can call themselves champions of the Indian Premier League. In the last 15 years, many big names have participated in this competition. Quite a few of them have failed to win an IPL trophy.

    Some players have score more than 3,000 runs in the league but are yet to finish on the champions side. Similarly, some bowlers with more than 100 wickets in this competition are yet to put their hands on the trophy.

    On the other side, there are a few lucky players who can call themselves IPL champions even though they have never played in the league. They were a part of the IPL winning squad but never made it to the playing XI. Here’s a list of five such players.

    1. Rahmanullah Gurbaz won IPL trophy with Gujarat Titans

    Rahmanullah Gurbaz joined GT as a replacement for Jason Roy in IPL 2022. Many fans thought that Gurbaz would open the innings for them, but he warmed the benches for the entire season.

    2. Noor Ahmad won IPL trophy with Gujarat Titans

    Another Afghanistan-based player who warmed the benches this season but won the trophy is Noor Ahmad. The rising star was with GT in IPL 2022.

    3. Dominic Drakes

    Dominic Drakes joined CSK as a replacement in IPL 2021 and won the title with them. This year, GT signed him at the mega auction. He is yet to make his IPL debut but has won two trophies.

    4. C Hari Nishaanth won IPL trophy with Chennai Super Kings

    Tamil Nadu opener C Hari Nishaanth won his first IPL title last year with CSK in the UAE. He has been with CSK for two seasons but is yet to play for the franchise.

    5. Kanishk Seth

    Back in 2018, left-arm pace-bowling all-rounder Kanishk Seth was a part of the CSK squad. He won the IPL title then. Seth was with KKR this season as a net bowler.
