    Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have been a part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since the inaugural season, but they have not won the trophy. RCB have signed some of the biggest names in world cricket and elevated many youngsters to the next level in the league, but somehow, the IPL trophy has always stayed away from them.

    In the last three seasons, the Royal Challengers Bangalore were the only franchise to qualify for the playoffs. Yet, they fell short on the title. In the last 15 years, there have been some overseas players who left RCB and then became champions with another team. Here’s a list of those six players.

    1. Jacques Kallis left RCB and won IPL trophy

    Jacques Kallis was a member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad in the initial seasons. He moved to Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2011 season and won the title with them in 2012.

    2. Quinton de Kock left RCB and won IPL trophy

    Quinton de Kock joined RCB in 2018, but for some reason, the franchise traded him to MI in 2019. The wicket-keeper batter became a champion with MI in 2019 and 2020.

    3. Moeen Ali

    Moeen Ali played multiple seasons for the Royal Challengers Bangalore before moving to the Chennai Super Kings in 2021. He became a champion with CSK in his first year itself.

    4. Shane Watson

    Shane Watson was a member of the Rajasthan Royals from 2008 to 2015. He moved to RCB in 2016 and stayed till 2017. In 2018, he moved to CSK and won the championship.

    5. Nathan Coulter-Nile

    Nathan Coulter-Nile was with the Royal Challengers Bangalore for some time. The Aussie all-rounder returned to MI in 2020 and won the title with them.

    6. Eoin Morgan

    RCB were the first franchise to sign Eoin Morgan in the IPL. He left the franchise and then joined SRH, with whom he won the trophy in the year 2016.
