Unless the players belong to an elite level, franchises usually do not concentrate on players above 35 years. Now that there are reports of mega-auction not happening again, teams will focus on youngsters. Hence, players above 35 might not get the first preference. Those who are uncapped will find it even harder. That said, a few players belonging to this category have made it to the final list. We take a look at them in this article.

1) Sheldon Jackson – 35

Sheldon Jackson is one of the uncapped players above 35 years of age who have been shortlisted for IPL 2022 Mega-Auctions. The Saurashtra wicket-keeper has represented teams such as Kolkata Knight Riders and RCB in the past. In the recent domestic events, Sheldon was in good form. A backup domestic wicket-keeper is a must for each team. On that basis, Sheldon could earn a contract at the auctions. He is a fit cricketer and hence, teams might not worry about his age.
