In a recent IGTV interaction with Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni’s better half Sakshi Dhoni stated that she did not like MS Dhoni’s long hair look although he set a trend of that hairstyle in the entire nation.
In her opinion, she would not have even looked at him if he was sporting that look on their first meeting. Dhoni had kept that hairstyle after getting inspired from John Abraham’s role in the movie Dhoom.
2.MS Dhoni’s favorite football player and team
The die-hard fans of MS Dhoni would know that he loves football and he was a goalkeeper during his school days. However, not every fan might know who is MSD’s favorite football player.
In an interview with Star Sports, Dhoni had revealed that he was a big fan of Lionel Messi from the current lot while Zinedine Zidane was his favorite from the retired players. His favorite football club is Manchester United.
1.The story behind the helicopter shot
Another reason for which MS Dhoni is famous is his helicopter shot. The right-handed batsman plays this shot to dominate the yorker deliveries. He has frequently used the shot to send the ball outside the boundary rope.
Very few fans may know that Jharkhand’s cricketer Santosh Lal had taught Dhoni this shot. He used to play it in the Ranji Trophy. Sadly, Lal had passed away in 2013.
