The scorecard is one of the most used terms in the sports world. Almost every team sport has a scorecard system wherein the performance of every player is shown in brief. Cricket also has a scorecard system and it shows how the batsmen and the bowlers fared in a particular inning of the match.

The usual scorecard pattern is that the top order batsmen score a bulk of runs and then the middle order backs them to help the team post a massive total on the board. Sometimes even the lower order makes its presence felt.

Most of the Indian cricket fans would have heard the name of Pranav Dhanavde. In case you did not know, Dhanavde scored 1009 in a single innings of the match between KC Gandhi HS and Arya Gurukul.

Arya Gurukul could only manage 33 runs in their first innings. In reply, Pranav’s epic inning helped KC Gandhi HS score 1465-3 before declaring. Arya Gurukul lost all their wickets in second innings for 52 runs to lose the game by an innings and 1382 runs.
