Despite Warner’s excellent performance, the Delhi Capitals failed to qualify for the IPL 2022 playoffs. The Delhi-based franchise narrowly missed out on a place in the Top 4. They finished fifth on the points table after losing their last league game against five-time champions Mumbai Indians.

When David was a part of the SunRisers Hyderabad squad, he scored multiple centuries in the league, but he failed to do so in the 2022 IPL season. Commenting on how her kids react after their father David Warner fails to touch the three-figure mark, Candice Warner said in an interview with FOX Cricket:

“It was an experience. The girls take David (Warner) getting out really, really hard. And it’s me going afterwards…’No, it’s okay. He actually did really well. He contributed to the team’. But they expect him to get 100 every single game. 92 or a 17 not out, it’s not good enough.”

David Warner will be in action against the Indian cricket team later this year

The Australian cricket team has a jam-packed schedule for 2022. The Aussie stars will head home after the completion of the IPL season and most of them will be in action against the Sri Lankan cricket team in an away series. Also, as per FOX Cricket, Australia will visit India for a 3-match T20I series later this year.

Most importantly, the Aussies will play host to the ICC T20 World Cup in 2022, so the home fans will have high hopes from the team, especially because they won the previous edition of the mega event, which happened in the United Arab Emirates and Oman last year.
