The Royals’ decision to bowl first paid off as they restricted MI to 125/9 in Mumbai on April 1. Parag’s brilliant unbeaten 54 off 39 balls guided his team to a six-wicket victory with 27 deliveries to spare, propelling them to the top of the points table.

In a YouTube video shared on his channel, Chopra highlighted Parag as one of the standout players in the Royals’ victory, emphasizing his maturity and batting prowess.

“Staying till the end and winning his team the match, showed maturity and his batting skill. Whoever trolled him will now consider him a role model. Whoever made memes will now sing praises in his honor,” said Chopra.

Parag entered the fray when the Royals were struggling at 42/2. Despite the early loss of Jos Buttler at 48, the young talent from Assam collaborated effectively with Ravichandran Ashwin and Shubham Dubey to guide his team to victory.
