The speculation arose from the notion that Sanju Samson had been considered for a captaincy role at CSK, a proposition that supposedly fell through due to his rejection. The uncertainty surrounding MS Dhoni’s future added fuel to the rumors, with CSK exploring options for a potential successor.

As cricket enthusiasts pondered the implications of Dhoni’s potential retirement, the quest for a new leader intensified for CSK, but Ashwin’s swift clarification dispels the notion that Samson had turned down an offer from the Yellow Army.
