Neeraj Chopra received big prize from the BCCI as well

Chennai Super Kings are the only team from the cricket world to honor Neeraj Chopra for his historic achievement. Before CSK, the BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced a prize of INR 1 Crore for the only Indian to win the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. He made that announcement via a tweet.

The BCCI had supported the Indian athletes a lot in the lead up to the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Neeraj Chopra’s achievement will definitely motivate more Indians to take up sports other than cricket. On behalf of our SwagCricket team, we congratulate Neeraj Chopra and wish him all the best for his future!
