It’s that time of the year again as India’s biggest festival, the Indian Premier League (IPL) back with its another season, commencing on the 22nd of the March at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai as the hosts Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face off against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season is now just a couple of days away with the grand opening will be held in Chennai when MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings will face off Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis’ Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The complete fixture for the IPL 2024 has not been revealed yet due to the date for the General Election in the country yet to be announced. In the first phase of fixtures that have played, matches up until 7th of April has been updated and further fixtures will be the revealed in due course. In this article, we take a look at all the fixtures announced for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) so far.
CSK kick-start its IPL 2024 campaign on the opening day of the tournament when MS Dhoni will lead his troops to the ground against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on the 22nd of March at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Due to the opening day opening ceremony planned for the event, the match will be played from 8 P.M Indian Standard Time (IST).
The men in yellow will then play host to their opponent from last season’s final, Gujarat Titans on the 26th of March at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The match will start at regular 7:30 P.M IST.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play their first away match of the season in their third match of the season against the Delhi Capitals at the Dr. Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The match will be played at the regular 7:30 P.M IST.
The 4th and the final match of the Chennai Super Kings announced so far in the first phase of the fixtures will be up against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on the 5th of April. This will also be an away match for the Dhoni led side. The match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad from 7:30 P.M IST.
