In the 2nd inning, Heinrich Klaasen almost won the match for Sunrisers Hyderabad if not for a brilliant catch a young Suyash Sharma while running back in the last over. Klaasen scored 63 runs of 29 balls before he got out in the 19.5 over when SRH required 5 runs to win.

This was a high scoring match as even a 24 crore worth Mitchell Starc gave away 53 runs in his 4 overs. However, it was Sunil Narine bowling spell that was a talking point. Narine bowled 4 overs and gave away only 19 runs. When compared to other KKR spinners, Varun Chakravarthy gave away 55 runs while Suyash Sharma gave away 18 runs in 2 overs.

Meanwhile, reviewing the match on Cricbuzz, former New Zealand cricket Simon Doull stated that Sunil Narine has in “some ways, shape or form” is back to his illegal bowling action.

“Narine was under the pump a little bit, he has remodelled his action a touch. He knows now, not playing international cricket, I think he knows he’s not going to be called anymore. He knows that’s not a problem for him, so he’s probably gone back a little bit to the old action in some way, shape or form,” said Doull.
