Jadeja’s impact was felt from the outset as he took a spectacular catch to dismiss Phil Salt off the very first ball. His bowling prowess shone through after the powerplay, breaking the crucial partnership between Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Sunil Narine, and swiftly removing Venkatesh Iyer. Additionally, he secured the catch of Shreyas Iyer, marking his 100th catch in the IPL.

Recognizing his stellar performance, Jadeja was named the Player of the Match for his exceptional bowling and fielding display. Furthermore, he etched his name in IPL history by becoming the first player to achieve the milestone of 1000 runs, 100 wickets, and 100 catches.

In response to inquiries about this remarkable feat, Jadeja modestly expressed unawareness of the record and humorously remarked on the special titles bestowed upon Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina by fans, eagerly awaiting his own designation. “My title hasn’t yet been verified, hopefully they’ll give me one,” Jadeja said.
