Pathan, impressed by Omarzai’s standout performance in the recently concluded ODI World Cup, believes that the Afghan all-rounder could bring a perfect balance to the Gujarat Titans, contributing significantly with both bat and ball. With the mini-auction set for December 19 in Dubai and 1166 players in the pool, all 10 franchises are in preparation mode to finalize their squads.
Gujarat Titans, facing the challenge of replacing Pandya, are specifically looking for a player proficient in both batting and bowling. Pathan, speaking to Star Sports, expressed his belief in Omarzai’s suitability for the Titans and highlighted the importance of pursuing a genuine fast bowler to add extra pace to their bowling attack.
