Many cricket fans would know that Arjun Tendulkar is the son of former Indian cricket team opener Sachin Tendulkar. Arjun is a left-arm fast bowler who has impressed the Mumbai Indians team management with his pace-bowling skills. He has been with the Mumbai Indians since 2021, but he is yet to play a game.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the match between the Mumbai Indians and the Gujarat Titans, Mahela Jayawardene said:

If Arjun Tendulkar is one of them, then we will consider it: Mahela Jayawardene

Furthermore, Mahela Jayawardene added that if Arjun Tendulkar fits their game plan and strategies, then they will consider adding him to the playing XI.

“It is about putting the best guys in the park. If Arjun is one of them, then we will consider it, yes, but it all depends on the combination that we put out,” he added.

It will be interesting to see if Arjun makes his IPL debut against the Gujarat Titans tomorrow evening at the Brabourne Stadium. Some fans would remember that two franchises bid for Arjun at the IPL 2022 Auction. The first was the Mumbai Indians, while the second was Gujarat Titans. Arjun might play against GT this weekend in IPL 2022.
