Andrew Flintoff is a former England all-rounder. Born in Preston, Lancashire, Flintoff played 79 Test matches, 141 ODIs and seven T20I matches for the England cricket team. Many Indian fans remember him because of his acts during the India vs England matches. In one of the games against India, Flintoff celebrated the win by taking off his T-shirt. Sourav Ganguly answered him back in the same way when India beat England in the tri-series final.

A few years later, Flintoff had a heated exchange with Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh during the Super 8 stage match between India and England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2007. Singh replied to Flintoff with his bat by smashing six sixes off an over bowled by Stuart Broad.

While Flintoff was one of the top all-rounders of his time, he did not achieve much success in the Indian Premier League. Not many fans would remember that Flintoff was the most expensive signing at the 2009 IPL Auction. The Chennai Super Kings broke the bank to sign the star England all-rounder. Flintoff played only three games for CSK, scoring 62 runs at a strike rate of 116.98. He took two wickets in three wickets at an economy rate of 9.55.
