Kanishk Seth won the IPL tournament in the year 2018. He was a member of the Chennai Super Kings squad at that time. The 24-year-old from Kolkata is a left-arm pace-bowling all-rounder. He knows how to swing the ball and trouble the batters along with striking the big shots and scoring some quick runs for his team.

Chennai Super Kings are a franchise that love all-rounders. So it was not a surprise when they signed Kanishk Seth at the IPL 2018 Auction. In that season, Seth lived his dream and shared the dressing room with the likes of MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo, Faf du Plessis and Harbhajan Singh.

While Kanishk was in demand at the IPL 2018 Mega Auction, his career is not in the same position right now. Despite his good performances, the youngster did not get registered for the BCCI’s domestic cricket season. As a result, he will be missing the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

“Well as I told I have not been registered for this season so no questions about getting into IPL this year. I will be playing local games and tennis cricket here in Bengal to earn something!”

Kanishk Seth played for Railways team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy earlier this year. However, he was not a part of any squads in the most recent edition of India’s domestic T20 tournament. He played for the Challengers in the Bengal T20 tournament and scalped four wickets for his team. Overall, Seth has picked up 24 wickets and scored 45 runs in his T20 career so far.
