The defending champion, CSK, has a great chance to win the sixth title and become the first team to win six IPL titles. They have the combination to do it this time around. CSK has made some necessary changes to their team. Not only Chennai, but every team bought some good players at the IPL 2024 auction.

All ten teams are looking good on paper, and nothing can be said about which team will have the upper hand. With not much time left until the start of the IPL 2024, the prediction has started. A number of former cricketers are predicting the team that can win or their favourite teams for the coming competition.

Former CSK star and IPL legend Suresh Raina is also hooting for a team that he wants to win the title. Raina, who was part of Chennai from 2008 to 2021, won four titles with them. He played 205 matches and scored 5528 runs at a strike rate of 136.76. He also scored one hundred and 39 half-centuries, which was one of the reasons for Chennai’s success.

However, he is not backing CSK this time around. He wants RCB to lift the title for Virat Kohli. In an interview with PTI, Raina said, “Virat Kohli deserves to win the IPL Trophy. He has done incredibly well for RCB over the years; he gives his heart and soul to RCB. So I think he deserves to win the IPL Trophy.”

RCB has not won the title once, despite playing in three finals. Virat, on the other hand, is the highest run scorer in the tournament’s history. He has been with RCB since the beginning. In 16 seasons, Virat has played 237 matches and scored 7263 runs at a strike rate of 130.02, with 7 centuries and 50 half-centuries.
