Facing the formidable Deccan Gladiators in the final, initial nerves and apprehensions about conceding boundaries were overshadowed by Jawadullah’s trust in his process. Displaying the poise of a seasoned professional, he contributed figures of 1/16 in two overs. His pivotal role helped the Strikers restrict the Gladiators to 91/5, ultimately securing victory with four balls to spare.
For emerging left-arm bowlers like Jawadullah, the influential presence of Muhammad Amir is a guiding light. Fate smiled upon him as he shared the dressing room with the former Pakistani star during the Abu Dhabi T10 stint.
