Gambhir cheekily wrote in the caption that he is happy he does not have to captain anymore. However, almost every cricket fan would know that the 2011 Cricket World Cup winner has played a massive role in Lucknow Super Giants’ success this season. He is the mentor of the new franchise, and they are close to qualifying for the playoffs in their debut season itself.

Manish Pandey had recently revealed some lesser-known things about Gautam Gambhir

In a recent video posted by the Lucknow Super Giants on social media, LSG batter Manish Pandey revealed his experience of working with Gambhir and said:

“He’s getting old now, honestly. We know that there’s something behind those clothes. I played with him in KKR a couple of years ago and have hardly seen him smile. We got to be away from him when the times are tough.”
