The Indian team’s squad for the upcoming T20I and the ODI series has officially been announced. Hardik Pandya is set to lead the team in the T20I series while white-ball Rohit Sharma will make his return to the team after suffering a thumb injury in the series against Bangladesh and will lead the team in the ODI series ahead of ODI World Cup later in 2023.
Meanwhile, the fans have been left frustrated with the T20I team selection. While Shivam Mavi and Mukesh Kumar have been given their maiden call-up, the fans are unhappy that Yuzvendra Chahal has not been replaced with Ravi Bishnoi, who has so far done quite well for the team in the opportunities he has got.
Bishnoi has played 10 T20I matches since making his debut in 2022 and has taken 16 wickets with an economy rate of 7.08. Twitterati have meanwhile demanded justice for Bishnoi.
