A 47-years-old Jacques Kallis today took to the field and showed it to everyone why he was called one of the best all-rounder ever to grace the game of bat and ball.

Jacques Kallis, the former South African all-rounder who played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL for some year, is no doubt one of the best all-rounder the game has ever seen.

The South African all-rounder retired from all forms of the game in the year 2014. Now he is back in the game and once again shown why he is considered one of the best ever to play the game.

In the ongoing US Masters T10 League, a 47-years-old Jacques Kallis played brilliantly and scored 64 runs in 31 balls with a strike rate of 206.

Batting first in the match, California Knights, led by former Indian batsman Suresh Raina, put up 158 runs on the board for the loss of 1 wickets thanks to explosive innings from Milind Kumar (76 runs in 28 balls) and Jacques Kallis (64 runs in 31 balls).

Chasing the target, the Texas Chargers could only score 110 runs and lost the match by 48 runs. While Milind Kumar was awarded the Man of the Match for his performance, it was the performance from the 47-years-old Jacques Kallis that won everyone’s heart.

Opening with Aaron Finch, he got off slow trying to steady the inning after Aaron Finch was dismissed just in the 2nd ball of the match. But, once the game went deeper, we really saw what Jacques Kallis is all about.
