Baroda locked horns with Saurashtra in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on Wednesday (October 12). The moment that caught the attention of the fans was a rift between Ambati Rayudu and Sheldon Jackson.
The incident happened in the ninth over of second innings when Rayudu passed some comments towards Jackson, who was on strike. Expectedly, Jackson wasn’t pleased with the comments and walked towards the former cricketer. Both cricketers exchanged some words before the on-field umpires intervened.
The commentators clarified that the Baroda captain wasn’t happy with Jackson for taking too much time to get face the delivery. Following which, he expressed his disappointment. Rayudu went on to argue with the umpire even after Jackson walked back to the crease.
Notably, Rayudu has always been an aggressive personality. He was engaged in numerous brawls in the past on international as well as domestic arena. The clip of the fight went viral in no time and is currently doing rounds on the internet.
