Fans were not able to witness yet another possible nail-biting finish between India and Pakistan on Saturday as the game ended without a result because of rain. After the conclusion of the first inning, it started raining, and there was no play after that.
The second inning was rained out completely, and both teams shared a point each. As a result, Pakistan qualified for the Super Four, while India has another game to play on Monday. Fans, who came out in large numbers, were disappointed after the game was called off.
The contest between India and Pakistan always draws a large number of spectators, which was the case on Saturday as well. Fans from both countries were in the stadium to support their teams in every possible way. Among them was a female Pakistani fan who was heartbroken when Virat Kohli was dismissed cheaply.
A video of one of Virat’s fans from Pakistan, who was disappointed after Virat scored only four off seven balls, is going viral. She said that she came to see Virat Kohli score a century and even said that the former Indian captain is better than Babar Azam.

She said, “I am a bit disappointed as Virat is my favorite player and I wanted him to score a hundred. I came here to see the match only because of him and to see him live. I am a supporter of Pakistan also, but I love Virat Kohli.”
However, her wish couldn’t be fulfilled. Batting first, India managed a total of 266 runs. Ishan Kishan made an 81-ball 82, while Hardik Pandya scored 87 off 90 balls. Both batters added an important partnership of 138 runs to take India over the 200-run mark. Shaheen Afridi picked up 4/35, while Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah took three wickets each. India will now play Nepal in their next match on Monday.
