While trying to make his ground, Buttler executed a desperate dive, but just before reaching the crease, his bat inadvertently tilted. This incident occurred on the 67th delivery bowled by Benny Howell.

After playing the ball towards mid-off, Buttler found himself at the receiving end of a precise throw by Moeen Ali, resulting in a direct hit on the stumps. Unfortunately, Buttler’s bat wasn’t grounded when the bails were dislodged. The third umpire examined the situation and declared Buttler out, leading to his departure from the field with a sense of frustration.
