During the 29th match of the ongoing ninth season of the Big Bash League between Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes at the Gabba, Brisbane Heat defeated the visitors by 5 wickets on the back of a match-winning 60-run partnership between wicket-keeper batsman Jimmy Peirson and all-rounder Ben Cutting.

But the hilarious moment is came from his wife and renowned presenter Erin Holland post winning the match. While man of the match cutting was interviewed by his wife .

She said “Look, I said it to you before the game that any danger of getting a few runs so I actually get to talk to you for once. So, thank you for listening to me for the first time in your life,” Holland was quoted as saying amusingly to Cutting in the beginning of the interview.

Admitting the batting collapse in a small chase, Cutting was wax lyrical about Peirson for playing a “serious knock”. “We made it hard for ourselves with the bat again. The way Jimmy Peirson played at the other end … can’t forget him … it was a serious knock from him. Pretty tricky wicket,” Cutting said.

Heat’s suffered a middle-order crash, reducing them to 71-5 in 11 overs. However, wicket-keeper batsman Jimmy Peirson and Ben Cutting scripted a fairy tale for the Heat. Both batsmen smashed the bowlers out of the park, helping the side to remain alive in the game.
