At one stage, it looked like Bangladesh would post a score of 300 or above. But the spinners pulled things back in the middle overs, and an economical spell by Jasprit Bumrah did the damage. Kuldeep Yadav took 1/47 and Ravindra Jadeja took 2/38 in ten overs each.

Jasprit Bumrah (2/41) and Mohammed Siraj (2/60) took two wickets each. Meanwhile, Indian fielding was also pretty impressive, and India took some brilliant catches on the field. One catch, which could be the “Catch of the Match,” was taken by Ravindra Jadeja at the point off Bumrah’s bowling.

He dismissed Mushfiqur Rahim, who was looking dangerous at 38 off 46. Jadeja plucked the ball in the air and, after taking the catch, made a hilarious gesture. He pointed towards the fielding coach and asked for the gold medal, which is given to the best fielder by the Indian management after every game.

Though it wasn’t a great ball from Bumrah and Rahim played a good shot, it was Jadeja that divided to his right and completed a great catch. For Bangladesh, both openers scored a half-century each. Tanzid Hasan scored his maiden ODI fifty, scoring 51 off 43.

Litton Das scored 66 off 82 balls, including seven boundaries. Bangladesh finished with a rather low score on the pitch, where the average first-inning score is 307. Both Indian openers are in great form and looking good. Especially Rohit Sharma will look to make it big, and if he stays for a long time, he will make India reach the target pretty quickly. India will look to win the game to collect two important points.
