There are two big tournaments coming up in the next three months. The first big tournament will see the top teams from Asia compete in the 12th edition of the tournament. It is the Asia Cup 2023, which will take place in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Six teams are divided into two groups of three each. India and Pakistan are slotted in Group A along with Nepal. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are placed in Group B. The tournament will start on August 30 with a match between Pakistan and Nepal at Multan Cricket Stadium.
The epic clash between India and Pakistan will take place on September 2 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Four matches will be played in Pakistan, while others will take place in Sri Lanka. India will play all its games in Sri Lanka.
Notably, the tournament will have a total of 13 games, with the final taking place on September 17 (Sunday) at R. Premadasa Stadium. It will be a perfect preparation for the Asian teams ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. Meanwhile, with not much time left for the tournament to start, the official broadcaster, Star Sports, released the much-awaited promo for the Asia Cup 2023.
As soon as the 45-second video came out, fans couldn’t stop talking about it. It had everything. Notably, a few weeks ago, the promo for the ODI World Cup was also launched, but fans were not happy with that as it didn’t say much about the biggest cricket rivalry between India and Pakistan.

However, the Asia Cup promo had it all. It has aggression, passion, emotions, and intensity. The promo starts with some clips of IND-PAK games, which are followed by some scenes from the PAK-AFG match. It also shows glimpses of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh rivalries and Pakistan and Bangladesh moments. All in all fans are just enjoying the promo.
