Wonder Woman stops SA vs ENG match to spread awareness for Corona Virus:
As many of our readers would know that the Corona Virus is the newest disease to have taken over the world now. China is the most affected with this virus as they are struggling to cope up with the disease. Everyday numerous patients are getting affected with this virus which yet to be treated with an anecdote.
The reason why we are speaking about Corona Virus on a cricket-based website is that a cricket match between England and South Africa recently got interrupted by none other than the Wonder Woman. The Marvel movie fans would have a clearer idea about her as she is one of the most popular character of the MCU.
We will get back to Wonder Woman but first let’s talk about the match between England and South Africa. The first two matches of the series had proven to be absolute cliffhangers with both the sides winning one match by the tiniest of the margins. The home team, South Africa won the first match by one run before England bounced back to win the second match by two runs. The series was tied 1-1 as both the teams came out to play the series decider.
Just like all the matches, the series finale proved to be a high-scoring contest where the hosts piled up over 200 runs on the board. Chasing a massive target to win the series, England got off to a solid start thanks to Jos Buttler. Skipper Eoin Morgan delivered the finishing touch as the visitors emerged victorious 2-1 in the T20I series.
Coming back to Wonder Woman and her interruption now, a lady barged into the stadium dressed up as the Wonder Woman and she directly reached South African skipper Quinton de Kock who was keeping the wickets in the second innings. While the captain should have focused more on his field setting, the lady diverted his mind with the message of corona virus.
