Here’s the best XI of the ODI format (2010-2019) across all the teams:

1.Rohit Sharma

""

The best white-ball Cricketer around “ this quote is said by the best batsman of the game Kohli. Hitman already known for his skills as captain because of the number of trophies won in IPL. But his skills as batsman especially his 3 double centuries made him the best opener of the decade. His numbers speak well. He is the only active player to hit maximum sixes and added to that he has scored 10 hundred in a calendar year.

The dashing opener has scored 8000 runs in ODI cricket alone which includes 28 centuries and 3 double hundreds at a strike rate of 88. Even David Warner mentioned if someone gonna break Lara’s record for highest runs in an innings that would be Rohit Sharma. He is unstoppable once he reached 100 for the past six years he is the highest run-scorer in ODI for every calendar year. Even typing about him he made another record of 159 runs beating Dhawan for highest runs this year. There is no doubt he is the best opener of the decade in white-ball cricket.

2. David Warner

""

The Australian southpaw is known for significant T20 debuts without playing a single first-class match he appeared on the national team. After that, he got picked into the ODI side. But it didn’t last long. Despite poor performances in ODI, he continued to score big runs in t20 Even after dropping from champions trophy he gets back into the side in 2014 and he was second leading run-scorer for Australia just after steve smith.

From that series, he became the dependable opener for Aussies even after the ball-tampering scandal David Warner stamped his authority on the World Cup 2019 when he hit 53 against England at Lord’s thus topping the run-scoring charts and simultaneously completing 500 runs in the world cup. He is the best opener who is suitable for every situation and known switching gears depending on the run rate.

3.Virat Kohli

""

The run machine already scored 10000 runs and breaking records in each and every match whenever he came to the crease. He came into the Indian side as a 20yr old young man after winning the 2008 U-19 world cup. He took his time to get a regular place in the Indian side and scored a century in his first world cup match from there onwards his legacy begins.

He emerged as a chase master in the world cricket after scoring 133 runs while chasing 321 in 36 overs at a strike rate of 154. In that match, he smashed Malinga all over the park. From that day a new king has arisen then he scored 43 centuries at an average of almost 60. While world cricket is talking about his slot in all-time playing xi in all formats of cricket we have created the list for best xi of the decade after marked his name in the default list.

4.Kane Williamson

""

The best player of the 2015 world cup runners and the captain of 2019 world cup runner who lost the finals on boundaries count. The kiwi is one of the fab four of the decade. He single handly managed kiwi’s scorecard in 2019 CWC and get them to finals who always called as underdogs. His batting skills and taking the match away from the opponent’s hand made him a world-class player.

Even after warner’s missing in IPL he switched his batting gears to next level scored.

The New Zealander has stood out in Sunrisers’ campaign and adapted to the captain’s role with ease. Williamson was handed the reigns and he had to take over in a tough situation and he led from the front since then. The 27-year-old has gone on to score 735 runs at an average of 52.50 from 17 matches. He has the highest of 84 and has hit eight fifties this season. The Black Caps captain has hit 64 fours and 28 sixes in IPL 2018. He is now assured of the Orange Cap now as nobody playing in the match has a realistic chance of overtaking him. So we have put him in ahead of Steve Smith due to his ability to take any team to any level.

5.Ab Devillers

The unorthodox proteas batsman has scored more than 9000 runs which includes 53 fifties and 25 centuries. In AB De Villiers’s Autobiography “AB”, it is mentioned, when Sir Vivian Richards went on to meet AB De Villiers in the fifth edition of the IPL i.e. in 2012, Viv said to De Villiers, “Believe me you are changing the game how’s it plays, I see myself in you, I was destructive in my career but you are at another level.”

The 360-degree batsman has won ICC ODI player of the year three in his 15yrs career. He is a kind of batsman who can play at a strike rate of 200plus and even slow and steady innings. He can fit into any position of the game. He is a handy wicket keeper who can field at any position. He has all the variety of games and a man who can do anything in the field. His shots and his way playing the innings still remains as a myth.

6.MS Dhoni (C & wk)

""While reading his name itself recalls n power n number of records and nail-biting finishes he had gifted to world cricket sofar. He came into the Indian side as a smashing batsman who can keep the wickets. Later he became the captain of Indian cricket in the shortest format rest is history. He is the only captain in the history of Cricket to have led a team to all 3 ICC Championships: 2007 ICC T-20 World Cup, 2011 ICC World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

He has scored more than 10000 runs at an average of 50 which includes 73fifties and 10 centuries. The veteran captain known for his match finishing skills by taking the game to the endpoint and finishing it by himself. The captain cool held his nerves in all the important moments and lets us many victories. So without a doubt, he will be the captain of All-time playing xi in white-ball cricket.

.

7.BenStokes

When the world cricket is out of quality all-rounder there arose a man who was born in Newzealand. Later He became one of the top men in England. The name is benjamin stokes. During mid of this decade whenever we heard his name we used to remember his final over in t20 against the tall carribian who hit four consecutive sixes. But things have changed. Nowadays he remembered as a man of finals where he took his team to win the World Cup triumph. By hitting 84 not out and 8runs in 15runs of super over which made the difference.

The left-hander already scored 20 fifties at a strike rate of 93 and picked 70 ODI wickets. After superman’s performance in the world cup and a man winning knock in ashes he is appointed as vice-captain of England. He is future and present of current England there is no doubt that he can be an all-rounder of the decade.

8.Shakib Al Hasan

The Bangladeshi cricketer who played all three formats of the game. Internationally, Shakib has been recognized as one of the greatest All-rounder of all time. He was ranked as one of the world’s most famous athletes by ESPN ‘WORLD FAME 100’ in 2019. His aggressive left-handed batting style in the middle order controlled slow left-arm orthodox bowling, and athletic fielding has helped him win trophies in top leagues across the world.

The left-hander has scored more than 6000’ODI runs which includes 47 fifties and 9centuries and the off-spinner have picked 260 ODI wickets under his in ODI alone. Apart from his numbers, his mind-blowing performance in the last world cup made Bangladesh a competent for the world cup. In this World Cup, he has scored 606 runs and 11wickters in 8 matches. He is the best spinner even in the likes of Rashid Khan who picked most of his wickets only in subcontinent against lower-ranking nations. Without competition, he became an office of this decade in ODI format.

9. Lasith Malinga

The yorker king often known called as sling Malinga. Some people became famous because of yorker and death bowling but some people have made yorker and death bowling as a famous art.

Malinga’s unorthodox action and dipping slower ball yorkers are credited with much of his success. He is best known for his ability to take consecutive wickets, with in-swinging yorkers: he is the only bowler in the world to have two World Cup hat-tricks, the only bowler to have taken three hat-tricks in ODIs and the only player to have taken four wickets in four consecutive balls in any form of international cricket twice. He is the only frontline bowler of Srilanka who is an integral part of CWC from 2007 to 2019. He led his team to two consecutive finals and his sling Malinga performance gripped a victory against world cup champions England in the world cup round-robin league matches. He picked 338 ODI wickets at an average of 28 and a potential captain. He is the only fast bowler who can be a part of ODI XI for both decades.

10. Mitchel Starc

Every player will be at the peak of his career during some period of time. But some players will be into their peak of career when it matters the most. Starc is the right example. He is a leading wicket-taker for two consecutive world cups which led his team to win the CWC15. In which he removed in form kiwi captain for a duck in the first over. Which changed the match’s direction and he awarded as a man of series in CWC15.

Even after in and out in Australia’s regular xi he packed himself into the CWC19 with the return of warner and smith from one year ban. They have won all the games in CWC19 except a league match against India and semis against England.

His 172 wickets in ODI at an average of 21 in just 82 matches. His numbers and prime form in Worldcup tell that he is the best bowler of the decade.

11.Bumrah

Whenever he came to bowl whole crowd started to chant boom boom Bumrah. He made the world go crazy for the unorthodox bowling action he is similar to his Mumbai mate Malinga. Both the players became wicket-taker and frontline bowlers of their respective teams won many matches in their last bowling spell by changing the course of the game. His pace and yorker often compared with Malinga he is ending this decade like Malinga did in the previous decade.

When came into the Indian side which is lack of phase bowling after Zaheer’s retirement. Only Bhuvi is maintaining from one end there comes Bumrah changed the face of the Indian bowling attack. He already picked103 wickets for 58inning at an average of around 21 with an economy of 4.49. Bumping bouncer and unplayable yorkers brings aggression to Indian bowling made them vulnerable of the decade.
