The 2019 WC happened in England and hence, India had to also fly some pacers to bowl at the batters in the nets. While Deepak Chahar and Navdeep Saini had already gained some prominence, two young pacers also had made it to the list. We talk about them below:

    1) Avesh Khan

Avesh Khan had a bright start to his career with the U19 World Cup. Later, after a short gap, he came back to do well for Delhi Capitals in the IPL. Soon, he caught the eye of the selectors. He later made it to the Indian Team, as well. However, even before all of this, Avesh had made a name for being a good pacer. Hence, he was selected to help the Indian batters prepare for the English conditions.

    2) Khaleel Ahmed

Khaleel Ahmed is one of the Indians you might not know were involved in the 2019 ODI World Cup. After Zaheer Khan, India could not find a good left-arm pacer. Many options were tried, including that of Khaleel Ahmed. The left-arm seamer from Rajasthan showed promise in his initial stages but after he got a chance in Team India, he lost his sheen. Nevertheless, he is back to being in good form. He might need a good domestic season and then a solid IPL to get back to the Indian squad.
