Hardik is a valuable asset and most teams would benefit by his presence. However, a few franchises would love a player like him because of the balance he adds.
1) Lucknow Super Giants
LSG needs a new captain and the franchise lacks balance due to no all-rounders. They also need a good Indian star cricketer to bring crowds to the stadium. Hardik fits the bill and hence, he is on this list. With Hardik coming in, the team’s inexperience in the finishing department would also not exist.
2) Kolkata Knight Riders is one of the franchises that should desperately target Hardik Pandya for IPL 2027
No other franchise needs a captain more badly than KKR. Of course, with his all-round skills, Hardik adds value to KKR. He would be a worthy replacement for Andre Russell, too. Therefore, KKR must go for his services. The likes of Cameron Green could be released to have the money invested elsewhere.
3) Chennai Super Kings
CSK needs a few finishers to add balance to the side. A good pace-bowling all-rounder is also a nice attribute to have. Hardik has a close relationship with MS Dhoni and as per reports, this move is very much possible. With Hardik coming in, someone like Shivam Dube might have to leave the franchise towards Mumbai.
