Stephen Fleming and CSK have parted ways mutually. Here, we take a look at the list of three former CSK players who can replace Stephen Fleming as Head Coach.
It would be a big decision for CSK to find a replacement for the former Kiwi skipper. There are quite a few cricketers who have done well at CSK and could be a good appointment for the side. We talk about a few of them in the headers below.
1) Mike Hussey
Mike Hussey has been with CSK for a while now. He also has experience as a Head Coach in different leagues. If CSK wants to promote someone from their own backyard, Hussey would be the ideal acquisition for the franchise. He knows the side and that would help him in developing it.
2) Hemang Badani is one of the former CSK players who can replace Stephen Fleming as Head Coach
As per reports, Badani is in contention to join the CSK coaching setup. His last two years at DC were not good, but Badani would get more freedom and would operate under a solid structure, unlike at Delhi. Considering he has done well before in the TNPL, it would be a good idea to have him in the squad.
3) Shane Watson
Shane Watson has affiliated himself with the KKR family. However, considering it is a Head Coach role, Watson could be prized away from Kolkata. Watto offers fresh, modern ideas, and he can bring in the CSK values, which he also benefited from. Hence, the Aussie is on this list.
