    2. Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer is the biggest name that has been sacked from the central contract by the BCCI. Iyer was a Grade B player in 2023 and was a key player for India across formats. He was also one of the top run-getters for India at the World Cup 2023 at home. But later, his form declined, and there were some other issues as well. Iyer declared himself unfit and didn’t take part in Ranji, despite BCCI’s warning. As a result, he has been sacked from the central contract by the BCCI. He will captain KKR and is getting paid INR 10.75 in the IPL 2024.

    1. Shikhar Dhawan

Another name that has been sacked from the BCCI’s central contract list for 2024 is Shikhar Dhawan. The veteran opener has been sidelined from the Indian squad for more than a year. India has gone with other young opening options that have also worked for them. Dhawan was demoted in 2023 and was included in Grade C, but now he is nowhere close and has been excluded from the central contract. He will be leading PBKS in the IPL 2024.
