The conditions in the West Indies are different when compared to the USA. Hence, a few forced changes could happen. At the same time, the management might take a few risks.

    1) A batter short is the way forward for the India playing XI in West Indies

In a way, India will surely include Kuldeep Yadav in the coming games. He is the team’s best spinner and in West Indies, a player of his stature is sure to play. To have him in the playing XI, the management must ideally drop one of Siraj or Arshdeep. However, both are in good form and if bowlers are in good form, it is better to not disturb them. Hence, the only way to have Kuldeep in the team could be to drop one of the batting all-rounders. The likes of Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja or Axar Patel could miss in this case.

    2) Find a way to include Sanju Samson

Including Sanju Samson is one of the risks in the playing XI India must take when they start playing in the West Indies. Sanju is a serious player of spin and it is good if India somehow includes him in the middle-order. With his presence, there would be a lot of balance in the team. To make this happen, India might have to drop one of their out-of-form batters or play with one less bowler. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma cannot be dropped and hence, the only way for Sanju to find a place could be to drop one of the pacers. That said, this might not happen.
