Marnus Labuschagne has emerged as one of the top Test batters for the Australian cricket team. Labuschagne has made a name for himself with his consistent performances in the Test arena. He was born in South Africa but later moved Down Under.
His father Andre Labuschagne moved to the Australian land in 2004 when he received an offer to work for a company that bought old mines. Marnus was always interested in Test cricket. His uncle Martin told ESPNCricinfo:
“From the time he was five or six years old, he would sit and watch Test cricket and then he would come and bribe someone in the family to throw some balls for him.”
2. Michael Neser
Another South Africa-born cricketer who dons the Australian jersey now is Michael Neser. He is a right-arm fast bowler. IPL fans would know him because he played a match for the Punjab Kings in the league once.
