    Prize money of T20 leagues is always a topic of discussion in the cricketing circles. It is quite well-known that the highest prize money in the business of T20 leagues is offered by the Indian Premier League (IPL). The champion team of IPL gets INR 20 crore. Meanwhile, in Pakistan, the winner of the Pakistan Super League gets INR 3.4 crore.

    Different leagues have different amounts of prize money. The league which gives the second-highest prize money is South Africa’s SA20, with the prize money being INR 15 crore.

    In West Indies’ Caribbean Premier League, the prize money is INR 8.14 crore, while in BCCI’s Women’s Premier League, the winning team received INR 6 crore.

    UAE launched the International League T20, with the prize money being INR 5.7 crore. Australia’s Big Bash League has a prize money of 3.66 crore, which is just INR 26 lakh more than the prize money in Pakistan Super League.     1. The Hundred has less prize money than Pakistan Super League

    The Hundred is the premier league of England, with the players competing against each other in a unique 100-ball tournament. Eight teams participate in this tournament. Although it received decent viewership, the prize money of this league is just INR 1.3 crore. Many players earn more money than that while playing in other leagues.

    2. Bangladesh Premier League

    Bangladesh Premier League also has a prize money, which is much less than the Pakistan’s T20 league. BPL has a prize money which equals to almost INR 1.53 crore. The prize money in PSL is more than double of what is given in the BPL.
