Chennai Super Kings lost by 50 runs to Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Friday. Here, we take a look at the list of three bold changes CSK must make for their next game in IPL 2025.
It was a tough pill to swallow for CSK. Now, a few changes in the playing XI are inevitable for the five-time champions. Importantly, CSK must be bold and ensure that they find a settled combination soon.
1) Devon Conway for Sam Curran
The option to have Rahul Tripathi as the opener has not worked till now for CSK. Devon Conway has done well for the franchise before and it is better to trust him.
CSK could open with Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway. The Kiwi duo has done this role in the past and they can make a difference in the powerplay.
2) Vijay Shankar for Deepak Hooda is one of the changes CSK must plan for their next IPL 2025 game
Vijay Shankar for Deepak Hooda is one of the bold changes CSK must make for their next game in IPL 2025. Deepak has not had a good start to his IPL career at CSK.
Vijay Shankar has better power-hitting skills, especially against the pacers. Therefore, it makes sense to have him in the team for the next encounter.
3) Anshul Kamboj for Rahul Tripathi
CSK must try to experiment now and find a settled combination as early as possible in the tournament. At the moment, it looks like Rahul Tripathi is not in great form.
Anshul Kamboj is a fine bowler and he can add some variety to the pace attack. Therefore, he can be a choice to replace Rahul for the next encounter.
