1) Find a way to play Akash Madhwal
RR has had certain issues while bowling in the death overs. Even against LSG, if Sandeep Sharma had bowled a better over to Abdul Samad, RR could have won the game. However, now, RR must consider having Akash Madhwal on the side. He is a death-overs expert. That said, if this change has to be done, RR will have to boldly drop one of Sandeep Sharma or Tushar Deshpande.
2) Dropping Shimron Hetmyer is one of the bold changes Rajasthan Royals must try
Shimron Hetmyer is an expert in finishing games. However, in two games in a row, the West Indian cricketer has looked rusty. It could be a good move to give him a break and try someone like Shubham Dubey in this slot for the next two games at least.
3) Consider a captaincy alternative
Riyan Parag is an excellent player but as a skipper, there is a lot of negativity around him. Therefore, Rahul Dravid must consider having another alternate captaincy option if Sanju Samson is still not fit. One of the choices for the side will be Yashasvi Jaiswal or Nitish Rana.
