1) Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh
Looking at the options LSG have, they must go with the foreign duo of Markram and Marsh at the top of the order. While Marsh definitely fits the slot, Markram’s form makes it hard for LSG to have a strong duo at the top. That said, with Markram, there is stability, experience and a right-arm off-spin option available for the franchise.
2) Mitchell Marsh and Rishabh Pant can open for LSG in IPL 2025
Mitchell Marsh and Rishabh Pant form one of the different opening combinations LSG can try in IPL 2025. LSG have three left-handers in the middle order and to avoid a choke by right-arm off-spinners, they can have Rishabh Pant opening the batting. Pant has done this job at the junior level. Hence, it is not new for him. Marsh and Pant can be a successful opening combination, as well.
3) Mitchell Marsh and Yuvraj Chaudhary
Yuvraj Chaudharya is a specialist opener LSG has in the team. He is in good form and can be a choice for the side. Some teams have gone for experience and youth as a combination and even LSG can try the same in IPL 2025.
